Robert Brooks - Piano Teacher

Teacher's Biography:

Hi, my name is Robert! I am a conductor, singer, composer and a piano teacher based in central Oxford. I started learning piano when I was about 3 years old and studied at Junior Guildhall until the age of 8. I then sang as a chorister in the choir of New College, Oxford, where I also began to play the cello. During my teens, I continued to sing and compose, and also played in many ensembles including the Thames Vale Youth Orchestra.

I have been teaching singing, piano, cello and conducting privately ever since graduating the University of Manchester where I gained my MusB first class, as well as directing several choirs and ensembles. I have also completed a conducting scholarship with the Leeds Festival Chorus, and a fellowship program with the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain, for whom I am regularly employed as a singer, conductor and coach.
